Thrifty’s Smile Cards

Parksville Lawn Bowling Club
Did you know that you can help raise funds for our club, while doing your grocery shopping?
The Club sells Thrifty Foods “Smile” gift cards, which are redeemable at any Thrifty Foods Store and have no expiry date. We can make up to 6% of sales. For example, with sales of $10,000, the club will make $600.
Cards are available in denominations of $50, $100 or $200 and must be pre-ordered by clicking Smile card Order Form . Order by the end of the day Friday July 3rd and they will be delivered the following week.
We accept payment of cash, cheque or e-transfer to treasurer@parksvillelawnbowlingclub.com.

What a great time to gather with friends and fellow lawn bowlers. Have fun, share some laughs, get to know one another a little better, and make some friends. This Social time happens in the winter session from 3:00 to 4:30 after short Mat on Fridays and Sundays, and during the summer, after the Friday and Sunday afternoon games. Cold drinks are available from the bar, and soft drinks and water from the fridge and if you prefer a hot tea, that can also be available. Club Mixed Pairs Tournament
Category
The format of the tournament will be modelled after the District Mixed Pairs formats. Both vary with the number of entries, but both involve either 4 or 5 fourteen end games over 2 consecutive days, so likely 3 games on one of the days.
Winners and runners up of this tournament will advance to the District Pairs to be held in Courtenay on September 12th and 13th
This event will be team of choice. Registration closes on Sunday, August 16th at 8 pm.
