Courtenay Gender Neutral Pairs A Success

It was another busy weekend on the green in Courtenay with a number of teams playing in the 2-4-2 format for this event. As usual, the greens were fast and hard, making for some great shots in the process.

The home town team of Peter Harding and Carole Nelson took  first place, with Vern Hagstrom and Linda Cooper of Nanaimo  coming in second.  Adrian and Kathleen Hewitt, also of Nanaimo,  took third, while two Parksville teams rounded out the fourth and fifth positions.  Wayne Larocque and Karen Perrin were fourth and Bob Merrell and Christian Massey took fifth.

A very big thank you to all who took part in the event, and for those who came out to watch.    The kitchen and grounds crew were much appreciated.  Thanks to Karen Perrin who sent  the results via her cell, so they could be posted  quickly.  It’s appreciated.
