Club Singles August 11 – 13

Parksville Lawn Bowling Club
The club Singles is being played from Tuesday, August 11th to Thursday, August 13th.
Games on Tuesday and Wednesday start at 9:00 with the last game at 1:30. The semi-finals are Thursday at 10:00 with the finals at 1:00.
Coffee and tea will be available most days. Come out and watch what is sure to be some very good and exciting games.

Social Hour
What a great time to gather with friends and fellow lawn bowlers. Have fun, share some laughs, get to know one another a little better, and make some friends.
This Social time happens in the winter session from 3:00 to 4:30 after short Mat on Fridays, and during the summer, after the Friday afternoon games.
Cold drinks are available from the bar, and soft drinks and water from the fridge and if you prefer a hot tea, that can also be available.
This is a great way to support your club and maybe make a few new friends.

Please join us for our final day of outdoor bowling. Tags in by 12:45 for a 1:00 pm draw. Following the Draw there will be a potluck appetizer social event and presentation of final awards for the year.
If you are attending the social portion of the day, please bring along a cold appetizer to share.

2:00 Mahjong Lessons
Mahjong lessons for members of the club who are interested in joining the Mahjong Club and want to learn how to play will be available on Monday, September 28th at 2:00 in the club room.We play Chinese Mahjong and meet on Monday evenings from October through to March. If you wish to participate please email Murray Sinclair at msin44@gmail.com so that we know how many to prepare for.
