Parksville Women Shine in QB Tournament

Parksville Lawn Bowling Club
The Quality Foods Open Men’s and Women’s Triples was full of exciting finishes this past weekend. A slight mix-up in the finishes prevented me from getting information accurately, but today, we have the final results (with proper names and spellings).
First place went to the Nanaimo team of Kathleen Sherry, Lezlie Howe and Karen Hungar. Second was earned by our own Roberta Stets, Jeanette Ferguson and Janet Harding. Courtenay’s team of Shelly McCallum, Beth Perrier and Leone King earned third place, while the host club team of Helen Roberts, Denis Hooper and Nancy Blue took fourth.

8:00 am to 12:00 pm Garage Sale
Garage Sale — April 11th 8am-12noon
It’s time to begin gathering your donations for this sale. The Clubhouse sunroom will be open to receive them from April 5th though 9th.
Items should be clean and in good working condition. No large furniture or clothing please.
Members are invited to a pre-sales on Friday April 10th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Volunteers are welcome for the day of the sale, both for the actual sale and for the ensuing clean-up. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Wayne @ 250-586-2617 or Sheila @ 250-248-3239
