Nanaimo Lawn Bowling Club (500 Bowen Road) – August 30 & 31

Our Club Novice and Intermediate players will be playing in the District Finals this coming weekend.

The Ladies will be playing on Saturday @ 9:00, 12:00 and 3:00 and on Sunday @ 10:30 and 1:30.

The Men will be playing on Saturday @ 10:30, 1:30 and 4:30 and on Sunday @ 12:00 and 3:00.

It would be great to see some of our members attend to cheer on Donna Roberts, Darlene Pentland, Debbie Taylor, April Sloan, Dave Pentland, Alan Watson, George Wallis & Bob Ashton.

The registration for the Jack and Jill Tournament is currently closed.

Registration began August 4th.  As of August 5th the event is full (32 teams).

We are Short on Men Participants

This is a reminder of the club singles being played on August 12-14.  The registration for this tournament closes on August 5.

At this time, I need 3 more men to participate so that all who have signed up will be able to play.  If you are playing in the novice or intermediate singles you may still play in the singles on August 12-14.

Tournament Times

Please come out and cheer on our Novice and Intermediate members who are playing this weekend.

Saturday games will be played at 9:30 am, 11:30 am (Men and Ladies) and 2:00 pm (Men only).

The games on Sunday will be at 10:00 am (Men only) and 1:00 pm (Men and Ladies).

For the tournament this weekend, Saturday & Sunday – games start @ 8:45 and will run until 5:30 pm.  Trophy presentations will take place on Sunday @ 3:30 for the ladies and 5:30 for the men (please note these times may vary slightly).
