Teams from the around the North Island District (Port Alberni, Nanaimo, Qualicum, Courtenay and Parksville) will be playing at our Club for the Urban Edge Tenderfoot Tournament on July 11 & 12.
Games will be at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm each day with the trophy presentation to take place following the second game on Sunday. The teams are comprised of players who have played for under four years and each team must have a Novice player (players who have played only a few months). For some, players, this is the first time they will have played in a lawn bowling tournament. Players range in age from under 20 to over 75.
We will be offering BBQ lunch (starting @ 11:00 each day) for players and spectators at a cost of $10.00 per meal.
What a great way to spend a weekend enjoying our community while supporting these athletes!
