Rob Matthews, 15 players, 5 coaches and three helpers showed up at 6 pm Friday 8th for an introduction to lawn bowling to the newcomers.
The event was a success and it looks like we will gain some new members for both the short mat and 2026 season.
A big thank you to Shelley MacLeod and the others for a great evening.

The registration for the Jack and Jill Tournament is currently closed.
Registration began August 4th. As of August 5th the event is full (32 teams).
If you are interested in being put on a waiting list, please email games@parksvillelawnbowlingclub.com.
On Friday, August 8 at 6 pm, members of the Parksville/Qualicum Beach Newcomers club will be attending an introductory lawn bowling session at the club.
Scheduled coaching on Friday mornings has finished, however, this does not mean that coaching has stopped. If you would like any help with all things bowls, please contact your coach or contact me through the website, email or phone.

This is a reminder of the club singles being played on August 12-14. The registration for this tournament closes on August 5.
At this time, I need 3 more men to participate so that all who have signed up will be able to play. If you are playing in the novice or intermediate singles you may still play in the singles on August 12-14.
