Come out Monday mornings around 8:00 and you can join the weeding party.  Bring a kneeling pad and scratcher if you have them.  If you don’t have either we will find one for you.  After the weeding party we all get to enjoy the coffee and goodies from Geoff’s Bistro.

Bar News

Effective immediately there will no longer be bar service after Wednesday afternoon draws due to lack of participation by members.

The bar will continue to be open after Friday and Sunday draws, all tournaments, and special events.

Successful Bowlympics

Bowlympics 2026 was another successful day.  The sun shone upon us, and everyone had fun, even though I tried to confuse people!  Thank you for such a good response. It was a very tight race!

Meet and Greet Reminder

A reminder about the Meet and Greet on June 1st at 2:00pm.  All novices and any new members this year are invited.  This is a good opportunity for board members and other people involved in the running of the club to meet all our new members, and for you newcomers to meet more members of the club.

There will be a no host bar, coffee and tea and nibbles available.

Medical Questionnaire Form

The club has setup a process to provide patient information to paramedics in the event of a medical emergency.

This is a purely voluntary process.  If you choose to have your medical information on file, please complete the questionnaire, put it in a sealed envelope with your name clearly written on the front and the year.  Put it into the Vice President slot in the office area.  It will then be kept in an accordion file, which will be located next to the AED/medical cabinet in the clubhouse.

Blank questionnaires and envelopes can be found on the card table in the sun room, and on the website in the Members Area under Health and Safety.

Desert Open International Triples Tournament

Hello Fellow Bowlers,

This is a friendly reminder that our tournament is just over a month away, and our Early Bird Draw for a wine tour for four, from Swiws Wine Tours is only a few days away! We do still have a few openings for teams and would love to have you visit our beautiful little town.

All teams entered and fully paid by May 15 at 12 noon, will be eligible for the draw. This will be held at 5:30 pm on Friday, May 15.

If you are a singleton or a pair, and would like to enter, please do so with your fee ($100/person which is $300/team) and we will ensure that you have a full team to play with that weekend.

Opening Day Pictures

If you played on opening day you know I took a picture of every team, and some did not receive a picture.
